Our Team

Todd P. Lewis is an Assistant Professor in the Division of General Medicine and Geriatrics at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Lewis’s research uses mixed methods approaches, borrowing from econometrics, implementation science, and other disciplines to understand how well health systems are working for people. With QuEST, Dr. Lewis leads the People’s Voice Survey, a multi-country survey that assesses health system performance from the perspective of populations, which has been implemented in over 20 countries.

Prior to joining Washington University, Dr. Lewis was a Research Associate at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health where he completed his doctoral studies in Population Health Sciences with a specialization in Health Systems.

Dr. Lewis was also a Senior Analyst at The Advisory Board Company in Washington, D.C., where he conducted mixed methods research on physician leadership in hospital systems. He obtained a Master of Science in Global Health and Population from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Health Policy and Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health, where he was a Morehead-Cain Scholar.
