Dr. Doubova is a medical doctor with a Master of Science degree in Health Systems research from the National Institute of Public Health in México, a degree of Doctor in Science from the Autonomous University of Mexico, and post-doctoral training in International Health from the Harvard School of Public Health. 

Dr. Doubova is the Head of the Epidemiology and Health Services Research Unit at the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) that delivers healthcare to 62 million affiliates. She leads health services research at IMSS, providing strategic direction, methodological guidance, and mentorship in this field.

Her research focuses on evaluating the health needs and development and assessment of health policies, programs, and services to provide universal people-centered and evidence-based healthcare.
