Dr Prashant Jarhyan (MBBS, MD, PhD) is a Public Health Specialist at the Public Health Foundation of India. Prashant Jarhyan has a diverse work experience in the field of public health research and medicine. His research is focused on health systems research, non-communicable disease, and pandemic prevention and control. Currently, Dr. Jarhyan is in-charge of the QuEST Center's research initiatives in India, including the People's Voice Survey, MNH e-cohort and System Delivery Redesign. He is also spearheading research on the health system, investment analysis, and discrete choice experiments to identify potential downstream constraints that might affect the uptake of the influenza vaccine by health care system in India as a part of the Indo-European Consortium for Next Generation Influenza Vaccine Innovation (INCENTIVE) consortium. Additionally, as part of the Ending COVID-19 variants of concern through cohort studies (END-VOC) consortium, he is assessing the circulation and impact of emerging SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern in India. In addition, he mentors early career researchers in epidemiology and health system research. Dr. Jarhyan has authored a number of peer-reviewed scientific articles.
