Todd P. Lewis, PhD, MSc, is a Research Associate at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. In this role, Dr. Lewis leads the People’s Voice Survey, a multi-country survey that assesses health system performance from the perspective of populations. His research centers on health system quality with a focus on measuring and understanding how well health systems are working for people. Dr. Lewis completed his doctoral studies in Population Health Sciences with a specialization in Health Systems and concentrations in Economics and Evaluation Sciences at the Chan School. His dissertation work used mixed methods approaches, borrowing from econometrics, implementation science, and other disciplines to examine user- and facility-level determinants of high-quality primary care across multiple low- and middle-income countries.

Previously, Dr. Lewis was a Senior Analyst at The Advisory Board Company in Washington, D.C., where he conducted mixed methods research on physician leadership in hospital systems. He obtained a Master of Science in Global Health and Population from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Health Policy and Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health, where he was a Morehead-Cain Scholar.
