Agustina Mazzoni is a doctor specializing in Tocogynecology at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). She graduated with a master's degree in Clinical Effectiveness from the same university.


Currently she works as a staff researcher in the Department of Maternal and Child Health Research and in the Department of Quality, Safety and Clinical Management of the IECS.


She held two Fogarty Fellowships from the Fogarty International Center of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) of the United States: Fogarty International Research Scholar Program and Fogarty International Research Fellows Program in 2008 and 2010 respectively. Between 2017 and 2020 she was coordinator of the Medical Area and then general coordinator of the SUMAR Program of the National Ministry of Health, financed by the World Bank.
